Today is Clean Up Australia Day and I joined in with one of the two Port Melbourne groups. It was a rather still and incredibly sunny morning, which made being outside an absolute pleasure. Perhaps, with the warm weather and the fact we have not had heavy rain in recent days, today is one of the last opportunities to go for a swim at the beach until next summer. However the large number of jelly fish put me off.
This row of larger jelly fish were snapped down the Sandridge Beach end. I am sure this end of the beach got a good clean this morning, but I still found plenty of litter as I walked along. There seems to be an infinite amount of rubbish on the beaches.
