Placing a flyer on a noticeboard still seems to be a rather popular way to try to communicate things to people.
On Friday I passed through the South Melbourne market, which is not in Port Melbourne but seems to be used by a lot of Port Melbourne people (e.g. the local councillor). While there I was interested to see their noticeboard.
I wonder what customers in 1867 would have made of these flyers and posters promoting cooking classes, yoga, fitness activities and especially the City of Port Phillip’s consultations regarding the Social Justice Charter and sustainable transport?
